Happy News for all the Indian Memory Athletes: Indian National Memory Championship 2017

All the Memory athletes/ students/ teachers/ adults and professionals are aware that the Indian National Memory Championship-2017 is scheduled to be held on 15th October 2017, Sunday at Jal Vihar, Necklace Road, Near Tankbund, Hyderabad.

New and Prominent entrants into the Governing Body:

Squadron Leader Jayasimha, President World Memory Sports Council for India is very pleased to announce on board arrival of IIMD (Indian Institute of Mind Dynamics, Bangalore) in the Governing body of National Memory Council of India.

Dr. Krishna, the CMD of IIMD, Bangalore was very kind to accept the invitation to be in the Board of Governors of World Memory Sports Council for India. Squadron Leader Jayasimha and Dr Krishna have started memory training together in Bangalore before Jayasimha decided to shift his base to Hyderabad. To have Dr Krishna in the Governing body will do a world of good in promoting Memory sports in India.

Mr. Manjunath, the Director of IIMD, who was a Memory Participant in Squadron Leader Jayasimha’s workshop in Bangalore is also being inducted into the Governing body. Having this young dynamic person in the Governing body is a welcome news to all.

Mr. Pavan Battad, a popular Mind Map expert trainer, Speed Reading & Memory Trainer who was coached by Mr. Tony Buzan and an Arbiter at World Memory Sports Council, based out of Pune is also on the Governing body of World Memory Sports Council for India.

Mr. J S P Raj, a very famous memory trainer from Memory Mantra in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana who underwent workshop by Squadron Leader Jayasimha has been appointed as the Chief Arbiter, World Memory Sports Council for India.

Mr. Vedamangu, another talented, dynamic & young trainer is training the students in Telangana for participation in the Indian Memory Championship.

Mr. Krishan Chahal, a very famous memory trainer from Delhi will be attending the Memory Championship at Hyderabad on 15 October 2017.

Mr. Biswaroop Roy Choudary, the Editor-in-Chief of India Book of Records and a pioneer in the field of Memory in India, inventor of Memory Pen, an actor, Diabetic Cure Expert has conveyed his best wishes to all the participants for the Championship.

The India book of Records representatives will be present at the Championship to award on the spot “India Book of Record Certificates” for those who break Indian Memory Records at the Championship.

Mr. Phil Chambers, the Chief Arbiter World Memory Sports Council from London will be arriving in India on 14th October 2017 for the Championship.

Mr. David Zhang, the President World Memory Sports Council Asia Pacific Region from Beijing, China will be arriving in Hyderabad on 14th October 2017.

We are going to have a lot of prominent guests for the dinner night on the Championship day. This Memory Championship has the support and encouragement by the majority of the Memory experts in India and you will have an experience of a lifetime participating in the Championship. Besides, you will get to meet and learn from many prominent memory athletes.

Lots of students and adults are going to come from all over India to participate in the Memory Championship this year.

We will surely have the biggest ever Indian Memory Championship in Hyderabad on 15th October 2017.

Prize Money:

The First Prize winner will be awarded a prize money of  Rs 1,00,000/- and the title of “Indian Memory Champion 2017”, the First Runner-up Rs 50,000/- and the Second Runner-up Rs 25,000/-. Medals for event toppers and participation certificates to all competitors will be issued.

The Memory Championship is being held in Four categories, Kids, Junior, Adults and Senior, giving an opportunity to every participant to compete in the Indian Memory Championship.
